Job Opening - Americorps Promise Fellow

Chatham County Together! has been selected as a host site for the Ameri-Corps Promise Fellow Program for 2006-07. The program start date is November 27, 2006. The AmeriCorps Promise Fellow will recruit volunteers who will serve as one-on-one mentors and as tutors for the local SOS after-school program.

The AmeriCorps Promise Fellow is required to work 1700 hours in the course of 12 months and will receive a living allowance of $13,000. In addition, an educational stipend of $4725 will be awarded once all hours have been completed.
